The newest addition to the K-Tek family of boom poles is designed specifically to meet the needs of the ENG user.

This five section pole is only 24 inches long when collapsed. Even with a microphone and windscreen attached it is under 30 inches long. Very easy to carry in the hand, on a car seat on in an equipment case.

Fully extended the K-81CC is 6 ft 9 inches long. A good reach for most ENG situations. At 6 ft 9 the K-81CC with a microphone can easily be handled in a normal room with 8 ft ceilings and carried through normal household doorways.

The base section of the K-81CC News Pole is covered with a sturdy foam grip to allow easy one hand operation, even in freezing and wet conditions.

The K-Tek K-81CC News Pole comes factory wired with an internal coiled cord with and XLR connector and the K-Tek K-CC XLR base.

Without the coiled cord and K-CC adapter it is the the K-81.
