The K-SM is a Shock Mount. (A shock mount supports the microphone.) The microphone is held firmly in two specially formulated polymer mounts. The mounts stretch to accommodate 19 to 25mm microphones. (As close as we could get to “One Size Fits All.”) The mounts easily attach to thin machined aluminum arms. The assembly is very rugged for use on boom poles in ENG, documentary and other demanding applications. With the addition of the K-BWC the K-SM is ideal for use on the Canon XL-1 Camera. It properly supports the microphone and elevates it away from camera noise and allows it to clear matte boxes and filter holders.
K-WA Windshield Adapter adapts the K-SM to mount inside popular windshields. The kit includes the inside adapter plate, the outside adapter plate, two #10-32 mounting screws and two #4-40 bracket mounting screws.
K-SF: To adapt the K-SM with K-WA to the Sennheiser MZW 60-1 Windscreen a machined PVC slot filler is required.
K-BWC is a small adapter to adapt the microphone ring on the CanonXL-1 camera to a 3/8X16 threaded stud. This allows easy adaptation of a variety of accessories to the camera.
The K-HGW looks good on the end of the pole. It gives six inches more reach and hardly weighs anything. In addition it mechanically isolates the pole from the mount and provides the soft cloth covered wire pig tail. It is a good hand grip too.
K-SUS Microphone suspenders are made from a special polymer and are designes to be very high quality reolacements for rubber bands and bands and clips in various suspension systems. They fit most suspension frames with a four point mounting pattern.
